The ISM machine was developed in the years 2002 - 2004 as inspection and sorting machine for the installation at the cold end of the hollow glass production. Already today these robust machines accomplish their duties und prove the high development competence of the company Busch & Spreen as well as his collaborators.

The characteristics of the ISM are the up-to-date complete electronic control system GPM, the drive technology over servo motor (no mechanical indexer anymore) and many other technical details.

After the year 1992, the company has developed and completed a lot of electronic control systems which have been installed in the hollow glass industry (containers).

Today most of the german glass plants, well known in the hollow glass production industry, are our customers. We have already contacts in most of all european countries and have already sold our products to many glass plant troughout Europe.

Products

Mechanical refurbishing as well as possible electrical and control system upgrade of glass inspection machines from other manufacturers. We refurbish mechanically the glass inspection machines of the manufacturer SGCC since 1998 and equip these machines on request with the electronics and electronic control system GPM that we have developped. We also provide in addition to the refurbishing:
  • upgrade with our electronic control system GPM and electronics /li>
  • servo technology instead of mechanical indexer
  • laser technology for the inspection of checks
  • conveyor extension or conveyor shortening
  • integration of the machine in the line conveyor (own machine conveyor, S-infeed and 100 mm outfeed belt are not necessary anymore)
  • retrofitting in 4 rotating stations
  • extension job radius in 210 mm
  • protection cover (guarding) for the personal security
  • special rebuildings and developments on customer request
  • service performances like trainings and repairs on site
  • spare parts from our own production
Line information systems Computerized line information systems are used in the hollow glass industry for analysis of the data coming from the production lines. The systems analyses values, which are statistically the reflection of the productivity, as well as defects (with installation of mould number reader). These systems give then valuable information to the production management. Interfaces to external line information systems Our control systems for the SGCC-CO and SGCC-M1 glass inspection machines have today already interfaces for the following line information systems
  • AFIS company EKF
  • LISA special solution of a German glasswork
  • Sil company Vertech
and have then the possibility to return all the recorded data coming from the glass inspection machines for further processing to these systems. The interface for connection to a further system planned for a whole set of glassworks is in the development. On customer´s request we are able to create interfaces at any time for other information systems given the necessary data structure. Busch & Spreen - line information system LIS LIS is a simple line information system for hot end and cold end which transfers the very important values from a production line. It consists - apart from the software - particularly of
  • central processor (terminal at the cold end) for collecting and processing the statistical data from the production machine (IS-machines) up to the packing machine
  • hot end terminal for a quick query and display of all statistic data from the production line
Our line information system LIS can be adapted to customers´ requirements according to the characteristics of the production line. Special developments The company BUSCH & SPREEN realises also special developments for the glass industry.
